In order to promote the public toilet upgrading and to strengthen the sanitation the sanitation environment inspection works by the Environmental Protection Administration, Executive Yuan, R.O.C. (Taiwan). This plan will be carried out with on site inspection visit and keeping track of the maintenance record by the local county and city governments. Also, the plan would provide a checklist to verify the weakness of the maintenance that the local governments have done. In addition to the management end, the policy communication and marketing targeting the general public were also strengthened, taking the initiative to go to schools to apply and promote excellent toilet culture and conduct public toilet voting activities, as well as enabling the general public to rate their actual experiences and co-participate in public toilet related issues. Additionally, by means of a public toilet promotion video, the EPA’s annual toilet excellence policy was advocated. The video was played at international travel exhibitions and online platforms, thereby continuing to promote the toilet excellence policy. In order to facilitate the sustainable management of public toilets, the establishment of a platform for promoting public toilet adoption was planned, and information on public toilets available for adoption was disclosed. Furthermore, briefings on public toilet adoption promotion were held to invite enterprises to participate. By combining corporate social responsibility and the actual application platform, comprehensive public toilet promotion and adoption matching undertakings were planned. Finally, relevant execution strategies and promotion practices were formulated to improve project promotion effectiveness.
